EC24 was founded to unite private emergency centre physicians in advancing clinical excellence, leadership and innovation throughout South Africa. What began as a shared need for consistent standards has grown into a national professional body connecting physicians across every province.
Today, EC24 sets the benchmark for private emergency care — from clinical governance and continuing education to peer support and representation at a policy level. We exist so that no physician, and no patient, stands alone.
Our vision is to become the leading voice for private emergency medicine in South Africa — professional, progressive and evidence-based in everything we do.
